Every student loves to make crafts for real-world learning! Every child finds something that they enjoy.

Independent School of Thought values real-world experiences that promote self-sufficiency and self-sustainability. We have a garden and plant year-round. We plant peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, and more, all of which can be brought back to a student's house! We encourage entrepreneurship by being a vendor at the the Hernando Farmer's Market and Cooper-Young Festival! The school sells produce, plants, and various all-natural homemade products like weed killer, insect repellent, body scrubs, and toilet refreshers. We also sell crafts such as jewelry, floral crowns, drawings, and other various items that students and their families produce.
